Christmas Eve is here again we celebrate one of the most beautiful nights of the year! Children all over are patiently waiting for Santa to make his worldwide voyage this evening, spreading Christmas joy and covering the world with spirit, and peace.
Today and tonight should be all about family. It should be about family and family cookies, family sugar cookies to be exact, oh and milk for Santa! Don’t forget the milk!
Christmas Eve is most certainly about the children and the exitement, but it is also about the parents, siblings, and friends. We have a chance for all of us to get together and to put differences aside. Last night for example was our Christmas Eve at my mother’s and stepfather’s, aka my house, and tonight we will all be going to my dad and stepmom’s house to celebrate even more! Yes my mother and stepfather will be there too. Pretty cool right?
For those of you that are Christians, I want you to remember what tonight is all about. For those of you that aren’t Christians, I like you to maybe find out a little bit about what it means to us! What is Christ all about, and more importantly, what is his teachings, and his sacrifice all about? One thing I think of is that his sacrifice was one of the most selfless things anyone can do. So I would say to honor him and to honor the holiday, even if you don’t practice it, would be to give to others or at the very least just find a way to be selfless. At the end of the day, I think that’s what he would want most from any of us.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
