Being productive doesn’t have to be something that comes from magic. You can be productive effectively without making it out to be this “big thing!” You can make small changes throughout your day that can help you stay on track and get things done. You also can have the option of adding more things to the list because you can see where you have room in between tasks. You can see where you can move things around to prioritize something that came up last minute.
My mom always stressed this concept and now I live by it! Making lists are the best thing for staying productive. Even if it is a day off and you are feeling somewhat lazy for taking time to yourself for once, you can still be productive. Taking five minutes to write down a few things that you want to get done, or that you will have to do in the future anyway, will make you feel good. They don’t have to be anything big, just something you can manage and know for sure you can complete. Completing tasks is the key to feeling good about it and about yourself. Even something big you can break up into multiple tasks or steps and if you get even a fraction of the project done during the day, you are going to feel great! The other steps you can make for another day as long as you need to in order to complete the project.
Life should be enjoyable. You should be able to find time for the things that matter most to you. Although we get very busy and things tend to get out of our control, we can regain control. We can get organized. We cannot only add what we want, we can add more and more. Where there is a will so they say there is a way. You can find ways to make your life easier and ways to automate the mundane tasks that drain your energy from your priorities. You just have to want that bad enough and be willing to get creative. If you have people around you that you love, work with them to come up with more solutions than problems to your lives. Life is short and there is no reason why we all can’t be happy and fulfilled.
