Fall Is On Its Way

Before you know it summer will be coming to and end as fall approaches.  The season brings to life many color changes and experiences.  Kids go back to school, Halloween comes around and the air gets cooler.  The days get darker faster and the community gets  closer together as the hoodies and sweatpants become our daily uniform.

If you are like me you are dreading the change, but if you are not like myself, most of you are getting excited for summer’s end.  You will be watching your children change their identities with costumes and makeup.  Bonfires and football will be every other day, not just the weekends.  Hunting season will be coming and for outdoorsmen becoming one with nature again is almost here.

If football or hunting isn’t really your thing, there is always pumpkin pie.  I am pretty sure for most of us including myself that is the real game changer when it comes to fall.  Last year I enjoyed walking through the neighborhood with my nephews and niece as they were trick or treating.  You get to see everyone come out into the neighborhood and usually meet someone new.  Although it gets cold there is always someone with some homemade recipes for keeping their neighbors warm.  I believe for me last year it was a mason jar filled with something special.  As the seasons change remember that time moves very quickly.  Enjoy the memories along the way and make the most of the weather changes.  It will all be here before you know it.
